Soft-glass germicidal lamps (UVC)

UVC germicidal lamps emit ultraviolet at 253.7 nm with excellent germicidal effect. They share the structure and electrical characteristics of standard fluorescent lamps but use UV-transmitting glass, and are used to sterilise air, surfaces, and water or liquids. What do ultraviolet rays do?

Ultraviolet light, a natural part of sunlight, is a reliable, efficient and environmentally friendly solution for water disinfection. A UV radiator at 254 nm causes immediate death to organisms and destroys their ability to survive and reproduce — 99.99% destruction of bacteria and viruses.

The submersible ultraviolet system

Hiten Techno’s zapper is a system for water-storage tanks that can be submersed in the tank and used in cold storage.
